Overview
All subscription and billing management happens through two places: your Verusight Settings page and the Polar Billing Portal. This guide covers how to access and use both.
Viewing Your Plan Details
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Plan. This section displays:
- Plan name — Pro Guard (or your current plan)
- Price — $499/year · Annual subscription
- Purchase date — when you subscribed
- Renewal date — when your next annual payment will be charged (if active)
- Expiration date — if you've cancelled, this shows when access ends (displayed in red)
Plan Status Indicators
| Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
| "Pro Guard" with renewal date | Active subscription, will auto-renew |
| "Pro Guard" with expiration date (red) | Cancelled — monitoring continues until this date |
| "No active plan" | Free tier — upgrade available |
| "Activating Pro Guard…" | Payment received, subscription is being provisioned |
Accessing the Billing Portal
Click the "Manage Billing →" button in the Plan section. This opens the Polar Billing Portal in a new browser tab.
In the billing portal, you can:
- Update your payment method — change credit card or payment details
- View invoices — download past invoices for accounting and expense reporting
- Cancel your subscription — stop future billing (current period remains active)
- View billing history — see all past charges
Subscription After Upgrade from Report Unlock
If you purchased Pro Guard while unlocking a report, your subscription is automatically linked to your Verusight account. You don't need to take any additional steps — Settings will reflect your plan immediately after activation.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Polar, our payment partner. Verusight never stores credit card numbers on our servers — all payment information is handled by Polar's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
