Running Your First Free Domain Scan

How to run a free domain scan on the Verusight homepage and understand your initial results.

Overview

Verusight lets anyone run a free domain scan without creating an account. Enter your corporate domain on the homepage and instantly see how many employee credentials are exposed in stealer logs and breach databases.

Step 1: Enter Your Domain

On the Verusight homepage (verusight.com), you'll see a search bar in the hero section. Type your corporate domain — for example, acme.com.

  • Use the base domain only — no www., no https://, no subdomains
  • The domain must be a valid format with a recognized TLD (e.g., .com, .org, .io)

Step 2: Wait for the Scan

After submitting, you'll see a full-screen scanning animation with your domain name displayed. The system queries our database of 135+ billion leaked records from:

  • Stealer logs (malware-harvested credentials)
  • Dark web marketplaces and forums
  • Telegram channels
  • Public breach database dumps

Scans typically complete in 30–90 seconds, depending on the volume of data associated with your domain.

Step 3: Review Your Results

You'll be redirected to an Exposure Report page showing:

Section What It Shows
Total Exposures Number of unique credential records found for your domain
Security Health Risk severity: Critical (≥70), High (≥40), Medium (≥20), or Low
Data Freshness When the most recent exposure in this report was last seen
Exposure List A masked list of exposed credentials

Understanding the Masked Report

The free scan produces a masked report. You can see the scale of your exposure — how many credentials are compromised, the overall risk level, and general patterns — but specific details are redacted:

  • Email addresses are partially visible (e.g., j.d●●@acme.com)
  • Passwords are completely hidden
  • Source URLs and leak origins are hidden

This gives you enough information to assess the severity of your exposure and decide whether to unlock the full details.

What If No Exposures Are Found?

A clean result means no credentials associated with your domain were found in our current database. This is good news — but it doesn't mean you're permanently safe. Our database is updated continuously with new stealer log dumps and breach data. See What Does "No Exposures Found" Mean? for more details.

Next Steps

After reviewing your masked report, you have two options:

  1. Unlock this specific report — Purchase a Single Report ($249) to see all exposed credentials, full email addresses, plaintext passwords, source URLs, and a remediation action plan.
  2. Set up continuous monitoring — Subscribe to Pro Guard ($499/year) for 12 monthly reports, real-time breach alerts, and monitoring for up to 3 domains.
