What Does 'No Exposures Found' Mean?

Understanding a clean scan result — what it means, what it doesn't mean, and why monitoring is still important.

Overview

When Verusight scans your domain and finds zero credential exposures, you'll see a clean-domain report instead of the standard exposure list. Here's what that result means.

What a Clean Scan Confirms

A "No Exposures Found" result means that no credentials associated with your domain were found in our current database at the time of the scan. This database includes:

  • Stealer logs from info-stealer malware
  • Dark web marketplace listings
  • Telegram channel dumps
  • Public breach database entries

This is good news — your organization currently has no known credential exposure in our intelligence sources.

What a Clean Scan Does NOT Mean

A clean scan is a point-in-time result. It does not guarantee:

  • That your credentials will remain unexposed in the future
  • That no breach has occurred outside our database coverage
  • That your organization is immune to credential theft

New stealer log dumps and breach data are ingested continuously. A domain that's clean today could have exposures discovered tomorrow.

Refund Policy for Clean Scans

A clean scan is a valid delivered result. The service performed the scan across our full database and confirmed no current exposure. For this reason, no refunds are issued for clean scan results.

See our Refund Policy for complete details.

Recommended Next Steps

Even with a clean scan, we recommend:

  1. Set up continuous monitoring — Pro Guard ($499/year) monitors your domain automatically and alerts you if new exposures appear
  2. Enforce MFA across all corporate services as a preventive measure
  3. Educate employees about the risks of saving corporate passwords in personal browsers
  4. Re-scan periodically — if continuous monitoring isn't an option, run scans quarterly to check for new exposures
