Overview
After running a free scan, you'll see a masked report with redacted credentials. To access the full, unmasked data — including complete email addresses, passwords, and source URLs — you need to unlock the report.
The Unlock Flow
Step 1: Click "Unlock Full Report"
From any masked report, click the "Unlock Full Report — from $249" button in the report header or the CTA section at the bottom of the page. You'll be redirected to the unlock page.
Step 2: Account Required
If you're not logged in, you'll be prompted to create an account or log in. Your account is needed to:
- Verify domain ownership (security requirement)
- Associate the purchase with your account
- Access the report later from your dashboard
Step 3: Verify Domain Ownership
Before any credentials are revealed, you must prove you own or control the domain. If you haven't already verified this domain, the unlock page guides you through verification:
- Smart Verification — instant if your email matches the domain
- Email Code — 6-digit code sent to a domain email
- DNS TXT Record — add a verification record to your DNS
- File Upload — place a verification file on your web server
If you've previously verified the domain in Settings, this step is skipped.
Step 4: Choose Your Plan
Two options are presented:

Step 5: Complete Checkout
After selecting a plan, checkout opens via Polar (our payment processor). The checkout form appears as an embedded overlay — you don't leave Verusight. Enter your payment details and confirm.
Step 6: Report Unlocks Automatically
After payment, you'll see a brief "Payment Processing" screen while the system confirms your purchase. This typically takes 10–30 seconds. The page polls automatically — no need to refresh.
Once processing completes:
- Your report is unlocked with all credentials visible
- For Pro Guard, your subscription is activated and monitoring begins
- A success banner confirms the upgrade
Resuming an Interrupted Flow
If you navigate away during the unlock process (e.g., to verify your domain via DNS), Verusight remembers your progress. A banner at the top of the page lets you resume where you left off, so you don't have to start over.
Accessing Your Report Later
Unlocked reports are permanently associated with your account. Access them anytime from Dashboard → Reports.
