Overview
Monitoring slots determine how many domains you can actively monitor at once. Each monitored domain uses one slot.
Slot Allocation
| Plan | Included Slots | Additional Slots |
|---|---|---|
| Free / Single Report | 0 | Not available |
| Pro Guard | 3 | $99/year per additional slot |
| Enterprise | Custom | Included in agreement |
How Slots Work
- Each slot allows continuous monitoring for one domain
- Monitoring includes: 30-minute scan cycles, real-time breach alerts, and monthly reports
- You can see your current slot usage in Settings → Domains (e.g., "2 monitoring")
Auto-Assignment
When you subscribe to Pro Guard, Verusight automatically assigns slots to your verified domains. If you have fewer verified domains than available slots, only those domains are assigned. Remaining slots stay available for future domains.
Example:
- You have 2 verified domains and subscribe to Pro Guard (3 slots)
- Both domains are automatically enrolled → 2 slots used, 1 available
- Later, you add and verify a 3rd domain → you can enable monitoring manually
Adding Slots
When all 3 included slots are in use:
- A banner appears in Settings → Domains: "All 3 slots in use"
- Click "Add Slot — $99/yr" to purchase additional capacity
- After purchase, enable monitoring for the desired domain
Freeing Slots
Removing a monitored domain from your account frees its slot for reuse. This is the only way to free a slot — there is no option to disable monitoring for a domain without removing it.
Warning: Removing a domain permanently deletes all associated data (reports, exposures, verification records). This cannot be undone.
Subscription Expiration
When your Pro Guard subscription expires:
- All monitoring stops at the end of the billing period
- Slots are released
- Domains remain in your account but are no longer monitored
- Re-subscribing reassigns slots to your verified domains (auto-catch-up)
